New Spittyfish banner

With a little prompting I finally made a header/banner for Spittyfish. I’m pleased with it, but I have to admit, it wasn’t what I had in mind when I sat down to design the darn thing. It turned out far better than I had planned. That’s why I love photoshop. I click a button, or “monkey around” as I like to call it and learn new tricks. This one trick I learned I hope I can remember to do again – sigh. (It’s what made the shark see through – or, “lurk” as my husband described it)

Exciting new venture

I’m pleased to say that I will be working with a publisher doing cover art. The publisher is kNight Romance Publishing, and I have already completed my first young adult design. I still have much to learn about formatting, but I’m thrilled about the opportunity to learn. Soon I will feature my first print cover here on Spittyfish Designs.

Spittyfish?

Lately, I’ve been working on character studies for my teen steampunk series. (Not published yet – heck- it’s not even fully plotted out yet) But it’s coming, gradually.

Here is what I have so far (also viewable on the Claimed Designs page.)

Please don’t copy/steal/take credit for/or disperse these images. All rights reserved Spittyfish Designs, and all that. If you want a character study done for yourself, contact me here and we can work something out.
